Is Motor Club of America a Scam?

Is MCA a scam? An in-depth review:

Is Motor Club of America a Scam? I created this blog primarily as a REVIEW towards MCA to find out if it a scam or not.  Motor Club of America is a real roadside service company that offers real roadside assistance in an emergency.  Motor Club of America or MCA  has been around since 1926.

This brings us back to our main question. Why are people thinking that this is a scam in the first place? There is a lot of hype on the internet right now about how people are making a lot of money and claiming that you can get rich by working at home through MCA as an associate. The next logical question would be, "How is this all supposed to work?" A full years membership cost $39. Once you are signed up as a member of MCA you become an independent contractor or independent business associate of TVC. As an independent contractor or independent business associate of TVC, they will pay you $80 for every member that you sign up for MCA under your name.

How does that work? After completing the MCA enrollment for $40 you are given a link or URL on the confirmation page. For every person that you get to enroll in MCA through that link, MCA pays you $80 through their payroll department. You are treated as an actual employee and are given a real payroll check. They have recently switched over to direct deposit which deposits the money directly into your banking account.

PROBLEM: The main issue as to why many people are asking themselves is this company is a scam or not is because people are not advertising the company correctly. What are they doing wrong? They are advertising it as a money making program instead of selling the services that MCA has to offer. The internet is saturated with youtube videos of people flashing money and advertising how you can make $80 for every sale without explaining in any detail what the benefits of MCA really are.

So what are the benefits? MCA provides you with emergency road services in case your car breaks down. MCA gives you the added advantage of personal accident coverage and emergency benefits, plus discounts on prescription drugs, dental care and vision, $500 in bail bonds and most importantly... the option of becoming an employee and joining their sales team as an associate.

After spending plenty of time researching videos and information I decided to go to Motor Club of America's website. After reading just about every page, I then decided to call the customer service number who convinced me that they were a real roadside service company. After that phone call I decided to dive in and purchased the program for $40. What I wanted to know was if I could really make the kind of money that all these people on youtube claim that they were able to make in a week.

Week 1 results:
After my 1st week I managed to put together three youtube videos pitching what MCA has to offer. After about 10 facebook posts and responding to more than 20 craigslist jobs ads I managed to sign up three people. I received a "congratulations" email from MCA regarding each member that signed up. And MCA will be paying me $240 next friday through direct deposit. My final conclusion they are a REAL company and NOT a scam. They give you a real payroll  paycheck every friday ($80 for every member you sign up during that week).

Am I willing to give up my day job? it depends. My youtube video has received more than 30 hits in just the first three days!  I am going to try to put some serious effort into this a see if I can sign up at least 5 people a week. 5 X $80 = $400/week not too bad. As of now I will stay with MCA and post daily updates on my progress with MCA.

  3. Nice. I joined the MCA Motor Club of America recently trying to find out if it was a scam or not. I figured hey.. if its' only $40.00 to start and I can make $80.00 with 1 signup, then 3 referrals pays my year up, why not. Anyways, I tried it out and am now averaging about $1,500.00 a week marketing it close to where I live. Great opportunity.

    1. That's where I started too....
Then I started learning things like SEO, YouTube, how to build highly converting sales funnels, blogging, and all kinds of cool things. I've maintained my MCA membership for well over three years, and I can honestly say it's one of the best opportunities to make money online from home.

  8. I really enjoyed reading this. I agree. I hate how it is marketed on Facebook. I'm an associate myself and yes when I first started I posted money pictures too and it did get me sales but I realized I was attracting the wrong kind of people to my business so now I mainly market offline and I present the benefits first, opportunity second!

  11. I don't understand why there are so many sites about MCA and why they all mention scams. Why not just point people to the official Motor Club of America website and let them decide for themselves?

  12. Are you promoting all three packages to the customers or just the platinum one? And does it matter which one they choose, like will I still be payed for them signin up even if they get the 9.95 package? Also what happens when they cancel will the company deduct it from me?. Thank you in advance for the replies
